India is the current spiritual home of cricket and two of their most iconic players of all time are the great all-rounder Kapil Dev and legendary leader M.S.Dhoni

Both men famously inspired their teams to go on and win the world cup. Dev being part of the first Indian team to do so in 1983.

To have watched these two men in their prime playing for the same team would have been interesting. Both great players and both inspirational forces on the field.

Dev was the greatest pace bowler in his country’s history and is the only cricketer to have scored over 5000 runs and taken more than 400 wickets in Test cricket.

Dhoni is one of the most iconic and successful cricketers from India. He is known for his exceptional captaincy and talent as a finisher with the bat, particularly in limited overs cricket.
