Mike Tyson and Muhammad Ali are two of the greatest Heavyweights to have ever laced up gloves.
Both fighters enjoyed outstanding professional careers, culminating in them winning the world championship a combined six times between them.
Both fearsome in their own unique ways; Tyson the streetfighter and Ali the light-footed technician.
Ali made famous the ‘rope a dope’ tactic of leaning against the ropes to draw non-injuring offensive punches in an attempt to tire their opponent out. Only to then unleash his won barrage of offensive punches.
“Mike Tyson woudl get beat up ‘cause he’s a face fighter. He comes in low, and Ali is a jabber. He’d get that jab in there... so Mike Tyson would have to get around that jab, and he’d have a lot of problems getting around that jab”
