The British and Irish Lions fly the flag for the northern hemisphere against the southern hemisphere once every four years.

There have been some truly memorable tours, some victorious, some not. The most famous team was that of 1974 that won in South Africa. In my lifetime the teams of 1997, 2013 and 2017 stand out as greats.

I imagined a moment when some of the greats from those sides could play together.
